Poker Lotto

Poker Lotto is drawn nightly.  It’s a chance to play a quick hand of poker without having to go to your cousin’s garage, eat chips and smoke stale cigars.  With Poker Lotto, you get a chance to win instantly AND you are entered in the nightly draw.

The way Poker Lotto works is that lottery numbers are replaced by playing cards.  You are dealt five randomly selected cards from a 52-card standard deck.  If the hand you are dealt is a winning poker hand you win up to $5,000 instantly.  The evening Poker Lotto drawing selects five winning cards.  If your cards match the winning cards you win again!

Instant winnings occur under the following conditions:

Players dealt a royal flush (10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace of the same suit) instantly win $5,000.  A straight flush hand (5 consecutive cards all in the same suit) instantly wins $500. A hand of 4 of a kind, in which the player holds 4 cards of the same rank, wins $150 instantly.  A full house, which is three of a kind plus a pair, wins an instant cash prize of $75.  A flush, where all 5 cards are the same suit, wins a $50 instant prize.  Straights – a string of 5 cards in consecutive order – win $20.  Three of a kind wins $5 and two pairs wins $3.  A pair of Jacks or better (pairs of Queens, Kings or Aces) wins an instant prize of $2.

The overall odds of winning an instant prize are 1 in 5.

Each play also is entered in the nightly draw.  Prizes for matching the cards in the nightly draw begin at 2 out of 5 matching cards.  Matching 5 out of 5 cards wins a $100,000 prize.  Odds of winning the match are 1 in 2,598,960.  The overall odds of winning on the nightly draw are 1 in 16.

Each play of the Poker Lotto costs $2.
